The biggest Natural Bridge East of the Mississippi exclaimed the sign! Of course, this is the same part of the country that calls the Appalachians a mountain chain. As a western boy, I know better. Val and I stopped to take a look, mainly because we wanted to stretch our legs, and this was as good a place as any. After looking at a picture of said natural bridge in the gift shop, Val and I decided to not pay the 2.50 (each!) to see the actual stone. (What a pair of cheapskates!) But we did get this picture of the cool gate leading down to the gift shop & trail entrance.
